There is a wide range of services available for pregnant women. Some are based on a medical model that leads women down a path of intervention, fear, and stress during pregnancy.
I am promoting a natural hollistic view of pregnancy, birth, and parenting that brings family closer together and creates a healthier safer experience all around.
Only in rare cases do I admit that there is a need for medical care. For this very small percentage of women, I honor, acknowledge,and appreciate the medical community. That being said it is my firm belief that less than 5% of the population should ever have to endure the medical side of birth! |
